A picturesque village on the south coast of England. Time here has stands still,  on arrival I felt myself relax and the powerful sea air made me feel really alive.  Beautiful.  So I had no choice but to paint it.

Typical view that captures Venice in all its glory  (I left out all the little boats traversing the Grand Canal).  It always amazes me that this huge church and the whole of Venice is built on wooden supports piled into the sea bed.
